IGNITE will challenge and inspire regional practitioners. It will engage with you in an open manner through our interactive activities to help build the confidence, capability and maturity you need to be effective.

These activities include:

• Network Development to bring communities of interest together
• Knowledge and Skills Exchange Events
• Sustainability Matters! - the Challenge

IGNITE’s leadership aim is to ignite passion, pace and drive! That’s what needs to happen to create a step change in how we practice regeneration and plan, create and maintain sustainable communities in the region.

IGNITE’s programme is built around the ‘model of capability’ since its main function is to support practitioners and professionals to raise standards of practice. The IGNITE model is designed to focus on the most crucial areas of capability - Leadership, Strategy and Delivery

Examples of the four themes are:

• The development of an interactive knowledge store to which you can contribute documents and evidence of what works and what doesn't.
• IGNITE has supported the development of the Design and Historic Environment Network
• IGNITE hosts a pan-professional / practitioner calendar of regional events, sponsors and holds events to exhange knowledge and experience.
• Sustainability Matters! The forthcomming launch of the design review will challenge the quality standards of projects in the pipeline.
